First off, let me say this is very difficult. We had expectations that people would play fair. There have been some that haven't, and those are being handled through the proper channels. On our website, we chose to place candidate responses with the disclaimer that they are posted as they responded and we are not endorsing anyone.

Unfortunately, there are candidates that are running that have chosen to disparage their opponents. I, for one, have had enough of those ads on TV. So, we will not be posting candidate information any longer.

There is plenty of information regarding the activities of most involved throughout our site. It will be added to over the next few days. A Google search will get you to those locations.

We continue to report on our community and the efforts of those truly dedicated to modeling ethical behavior. We will continue to report those who violate the utmost sanctity of the trust in which they have been given.

In Lafayette, it is no longer permissible to benefit from your position, or try and gain power through the undocumented humiliation of others.
